Need a reliable person to stay long-term in our VERY SMALL, VERY RUSTIC cabin- rent free, who can help us care for our animals when we go away, and help with organic vegetable gardening. The cabin is very small, better for one person, but two have lived there successfully in the past. The cabin has running water and electricity, toilet is a compost toilet outside, and the shower/tub is on the porch. Cabin is heated with a wood stove. Ample trees on property for firewood. We supply electricity and hot water, caretaker provides their own propane for cooking stove and phone service. Internet available in nearby building. Ample land for farming and hiking, near Smoky Mountains and rafting. Peaceful, quiet setting. Available now. Need commitment through April 2012, but prefer long-term. Possible payment for work on an as-need basis, but no regular salary. Prefer individual or couple with horse experience.
