Folsom/Dore is the first building in Northern California to receive LEED certification from the U.S. Green Building Council. Citizens Housing Corporation worked with the City of San Francisco to build 98 units of affordable housing for low- and very low income residents with a variety of special needs. The development includes 3,200 square feet of community space that houses on-site supportive services for residents. The building is in a mixed-use neighborhood in San Francisco's South of Market area, which is home to a variety of small businesses.
